The Avila Beach Farmers Market will be closed for the 2020 season.

A Central Coast favorite, the Avila Beach Farmers Market brings fresh food and family fun to this classic California beach town. Celebrate the beginning of the weekend with live entertainment, fresh fruits and vegetables, and artisan products ― all with a stunning ocean view. Wander the promenade along the Avila Beach shoreline, tapping your toes to sounds of local musicians. Bring a market bag and fill up on the very best local produce, or purchase a delectable dinner from local restaurant booths. Take in the sights and sounds of this Central Coast paradise, and end with a walk along the beach, with soft white sand underfoot.

The Avila Beach Farmers Market can be found on the promenade, perpendicular to the Avila Beach Pier. The market is seasonal, open every Friday between April and September. Depending on the night, purveyors can sell produce, fish, and grains, as well as prepared foods like desserts and pastries. Several fantastic restaurants stand within feet of the Avila Beach Market, too, including The Custom House, Ocean Grill, and Blue Moon Over Avila. Just remember: for health and safety reasons, pets are strictly prohibited at any farmers market in San Luis Obispo County.
