What: Lecture Series Focused on Central Coast Marine Environments
When: Annually, in May on Friday evenings

Stewardship Travel along the CA Highway 1 Discovery Route in coastal San Luis Obispo County (SLO CAL) engages visitors in over 50 bite-size activities and contribution opportunities. Stewardship Travel adds meaning and fun while immersing visitors deeply in the natural and cultural heritage experiences that California’s unique Central Coast has to offer.

Discover Your Central Coast Lecture Series introduces community members and visitors to their marine environment. Experts from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary and its partners will engage participants to present topics relative to the Central Coast and the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary.

Lectures will be held weekly in the Spring and are from 6pm to 7pm at the Cambria Veterans Hall. 

Gain a deeper connection on vacation through activities and charitable donation opportunities that protect wildlife, habitat, and cultural heritage sites.
This activity selection includes:
*A learning activity and/or outing
*An educational center
*A conservation/heritage donation opportunity through the Coastal Discovery Center. In the "Special Instructions for Donation" box, please specify the Coastal Discovery Center.
