Harmony Dairy and Town – Population: 18

The quaint town of Harmony has a rich and conflict-ridden history. Founded in 1869 around a burgeoning local dairy industry, Harmony served as the home of the Harmony Valley Creamery Association and de facto capital of Central Coast dairy production for nearly half a century.

In 1907, the surrounding dairy creamery owners and ranchers agreed to call off a long standing feud and decided to name the town “Harmony” as a symbol of their truce.
